Here at Glencairn Alliance Church, we believe that we are created for the very purpose of worshipping and glorifying God our creator. (Isaiah 43:7) Worship can be expressed in many different ways, such as prayer, obedience, showing love to others, singing songs, etc. Worship is also based in revelation and response. As God reveals Himself to us, we respond in praise and worship. (Gen. 12:7)
Specific forms of worship that are expressed regularly in our Sunday services include but are not limited to: music/song, prayer, scripture reading, giving and communion. Worship should never be limited to actions that we perform, but rather be a lifestyle in which our hearts are fully engaged. True worship is Christ centred and Spirit filled. (John 4:23) The purpose of the praise and worship ministry here at Glencairn Alliance Church is to develop passionate worshippers of Jesus Christ who live their lives in response to the Gospel.
